Himalayan Carpets offers a
"Buy Now" button next to all rugs that are In Stock and
available for immediate delivery. Just select the "Buy
Now" button next to the appropriate size.
When you select "Buy Now," you
will be redirected to Google Checkout for secure and protected
payment. We at Himalayan Carpets will follow up with an
invoice to your email address provided and we will also provide
shipping information.
We usually ship within 24-48
hours, and we use Ground shipping (DHL). It takes between
3-5 business days for delivery.

In a snapshot, the process is simple:

Fill out the
Contact Us form to request a Himalayan Carpets
design kit

Indicate if
there is a specific design you like from our collection or
if we will be developing a design from scratch. If you
used the My Collection feature on the site, let us know and
we will provide color prints of each design you select

We'll get back
to you immediately by phone to verify details of your project (We
only offer personalized service at all times!)

We'll mail you
the design kit that includes all of our knot count
samples, a set of 100 actual wool color samples, and any
color print outs you indicate a preference for

After you
receive your kit, and finalize your colors, we'll create you
a color rendering of your custom Tibetan rug
-
If you do not
see the color you need from our set of colors, provide us
with
a
paint chip or fabric sample and we'll dye to match at no
extra cost to you

If you want a
small woven sample of your design before we begin
production, just let us know - we're happy to provide this
for a small fee

You'll approve
the rendering and provide a 50% deposit to start production
-
Your rug will
be ready in 12-14 weeks and will be delivered direct to your
doorstep!
Return Policy:
If you purchase an In
Stock Rug from Himalayan Carpets…
Customer Satisfaction is our #1 goal at
Himalayan Carpets. We stand behind every rug we sell. Your
satisfaction is completely guaranteed with our 3-Day
Satisfaction Warranty. If, for any reason you are not 100%
satisfied with your purchase, return it within 3 days and
we will refund the full purchase price.
Please Note: It can take up to 72 business hours
for a credit to appear or 7-10 day to receive a refund check.
Shipping costs on all returns going back to
the Himalayan Carpets warehouse are the responsibility of
the customer. Refused packages or packages not returned to the
address below may result in a 20% service fee. We recommend that
packages be sent back to us with UPS or FedEx Ground or
any other carrier that can track and insure it's packages. Make
sure to call or email us with the tracking number so that we can
track the package for you and issue credit immediately upon
arrival. Items that have been soiled or damaged may be refused
or cause you to incur additional fees. We will not accept rugs
that have been visibly damaged or soiled. No refunds will be
given after 3 days from receipt and from the date the rug
is shipped back to us.
If you purchase a
Custom Rug from Himalayan Carpets…
Custom-made items are, regretfully,
non-returnable, unless there is damage or a defect in which case
we will happily provide a replacement of the item you ordered.
In the case of damage or defect, we request
that you inform us within 30 days of receipt of rug. We
cannot provide replacements or refunds after the 30 days due to
cleaning techniques, or inadvisable wear and tear that may occur
without our knowledge.
Returning a rug is an easy process!
1. Call

us of the return
2. Wrap
the rug(s) securely in the original packaging or the equivalent.
Be sure to affix the tracking number on the physical package as
well as affixing the airway bill to the outside of the package
in case the label becomes damaged. Write the tracking
number on the outside of the package.
3. Use
must use only DHL, Fedex or UPS. Ground shipping is
acceptable. You must insure the package for the entire amount.
Lost packages not insured will be the liability of the sender.
All settlements for lost packages will be made by the sender and
reimbursed to Himalayan Carpets. At the time of reconciliation,
Himalayan Carpets shall process the return.

Our rugs are woven in Nepal.
Occasionally political problems may arise that will delay the
shipment of your rug such as Strikes, etc. While we have
never had an order impacted by political strife, we cannot
be
held responsible for delays as a result of situations outside of
our control.
